After installation the filter housing was leaking water. Five technician visits later trying to correct the leak the new filter version assembly was removed and the old version filter assembly it replaced was installed. Did I get a refund on the cost difference, no. The unit I bought and thought to be Kinetico turned out to be some off brand they sell that cannot be identified. I called to get a price on their softeners and was told by the agent I talked to that no one was available and she would call back tomorrow afternoon. I told her that I was pressed to find one, since mine had died and if she could, call in the morning. She said she would. The following day, morning came and went. I called back around 2 p.m. They said she was at lunch and she would call back as soon as she was done.
