I have never in my life had such an insensitive interaction. Not once but twice with this doctor. From being told “I can’t change the fact ur a woman” when being in literal pain for a year with what appears to be a cyst that was growing on my ovary. This clinic is OBSESSIVELY strict over the phone about bringing a mask (IN 2025!!) and a pen (???). Fine. They also say no companions are allowed due to “limited space” (okay), and you CANNOT be late OR early—only EXACTLY on time. And guess what? I WAITED 1 HOUR AND 10 MINUTES for a TERRIBLE 10-minute appointment. Dr. Andreas is EXTREMELY passive-aggressive. I went to discuss the topic menopause and my current symptoms and to get some information. That was a disaster. Asked my doctor to refer me to another physician who has the knowledge & current information. I left office feeling distraught
The horror stories I just heard about Dr. Gordillo are insane. Complete disregard for physical pain, gives simplest and unhelpful solutions, completely rude. As a man, seeing my girlfriends pain and suffering and having it be dismissed by a licensed healthcare professional makes me feel disgusted and angry. You are in a profession that not only specializes in the female anatomy and reproductive system, but one that needs to help women feel safe and be heard about their bodies. That is not what you are doing. Do better.
Absolutely horrible experience. Was referred here by my gp to have an iud placed. Never measured my cervix - not exactly sure why he gave me a Breast exam for an iud ( also no female present). After it was inserted I was in intense and extreme pain for weeks with heavy bleeding. Something was clearly done wrong. When coming in for my appointment to have it removed the first thing he said to me was “so… you loving it?” … how inappropriate.
