Dear Dr Patel. It is with much sadness and frustration i see you are leaving Optum. You are such a fine doctor. You made feel seen and heard when I was in so much pain. I always felt like I was in excellent hands and that you really cared about my health. So glad that I had you if only for a short time. I saw Dr. Patel recently for first appt as new internist. She basically fired me. I have seen hundreds of doctors due to a number of complex medical issues, and have never been "fired". Her impatience, total lack of compassion, and anger clearly shone through the entire appt. Very disappointing and a total waste of time.
