Please ask for contract before hiring this Mark and make sure you thoroughly review it. When a DJ is focused on "what not to play" and doesn't play songs specifically requested by the couple or guests at the event that is a huge red flag. Mark was also aggressive and confrontational. I do not recommend his services. I also do not think that charging what he did for his services and his light show is worth it. I feel like both the services and the light show was lacking.

We recently hired Mark for a wedding social New Years Eve. His light show was good; music was OK but our issue was his attitude and behaviour towards our guests. He was rude, argumentative and VERY aggressive and confrontational with two of the bridesmaids that had requested songs early in the evening that he NEVER played. He actually cornered one of them and insisted that he didn’t receive her request and told her to contact Apple because the issue was with her iPhone and not with him or his website. At an event that my best friend hosted we were all using the QR code HE put out telling us to use to request songs. He ignored a majority of our requests when multiple of us were requesting the same songs and artists. Songs that I know for a fact were on the brides please play list. Me the bride and some other guest were having a private conversation about how we’d been requesting things and it was frustrating. I hired Gopher the DJ for my fundraiser social and he absolutely crushed it! He kept the energy high all night with an upbeat vibe, crisp sound system, and super clear announcements. He was a comical host, full of personality, who kept the crowd engaged and made sure every guest request was played. He truly knows his stuff and guided me toward a hugely successful event. He went above and beyond! I’d 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, fun, and reliable DJ!
