I am making a review of this vet because I feel the need to let people know this is not a vet you should take a severely sick/wounded animal to, they unfortunately do not seem to have the time to do even the baseline exam services. I used to trust this doctor and take my dog here pretty often to deal with her allergies. Recently my dog has been acting weird, first visit Dr said it was just her allergies and an ear infection and sent her home. Second visit “respiratory infection”, THIRD visit all in the same week with no improvement, gave her x-rays (which I asked for and have not received) said everything is fine. My 87 year old mother was reduced to tears last week by the hostile and uncaring front desk staff. It was absolutely unacceptable. The front desk staff has always been unhelpful and rude, but this time was the last time. Dr. Gutierrez and his techs are very caring and capable, so we have put up with the nasty front desk. Now it has become impossible and we have switched vets. Too bad the insolent, unprofessional and uncaring front desk staff scares people away.
Been taking my fur baby here for years. Dr. Eric Gutierrez and his staff are accessible and kind. Compared to two other vets, I find that his prices are reasonable.
