I have been struggling with my knees for 2 years after ACL rupture. I have been here once after trying many physios, but am feeling super confident that its not all doom and gloom going forward. Could have saved myself a lot of tears by coming here first thing...
I had an appointment with Dan Buchanan back in October when I was having problems with my knee that meant I couldn’t run. Dan was absolutely brilliant and set up with some exercises to do. Today I ran the Reading Half Marathon and set a new PB, which wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for Dan. Thank you!
About a year ago I decided to sign up to the elevate programme, I can honestly say this was the best decision. Having suffered lots of different niggles I had completely lost confidence in my body to exercise. With the support from the team at GoPerform I have built myself back up, not only physically, but mentally as well. I would like to say a huge thankyou to Heidi. Gosh - she is so experienced, knowledgeable and professional. I had shockwave therapy with her and she advised on Physio exercises. I love the way she listened to me; heard about my journey with planter fasciitis. She carefully inspected my foot and advised on how the shockwave therapy works and how she was going to address my foot - checking at every stage that I was comfortable.
