I cancelled 2 policies and got a much better agent/ins company in January of 2023 - it’s now mid-June. Kirk at Goosehead Westlake never processed my new agent’s cancellation request, so I never received prorated refunds, or proof of cancellation. My new insurance agent confirmed that Goosehead does indeed charge service fees. They hide them and lie about it.
