I saw an ad for Goosehead insurance last summer 2022, and needed car, home and an umbrella policy. I called the number and the agent that answered, Nick Velasquez was very nice and proceeded to help me. This is an independent agent and works on a commission and so Nick found me coverages and I went with him. SERIOUSLY ~ RUN AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY- THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY CAN NOT KEEP EMPLOYEES, YOUR AGENT WHOM YOU TRUSTED TO HELP WITH YOUR FAMILY INSURANCE ETC, LEAVES AND NO ONE TAKES OVER YOUR ACCOUNT OR A NINCOMPOOP TAKES IT OVER AND IS NEVER REACHABLE OR ACCOUNTABLE... I CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW DEEPLY I FEEL THIS COMPANY IS A HORRIBLE EXAMPLE OF ANY KIND OF BROKER...

I hate even giving Goosehead one star as it should be negative. If you are looking for insurance run fast and hard from this company. Suggest you go direct to main carrier as they will give you more attention than Goosehead. Service from Goosehead is almost nonexistent unless the want your money initially. They were no help on a claim that should have cost me zero but ended up costing me $1000. They will not get involved at all with the carrier even after several attempts to request help. there was a way to give them a negative score I would have done it. I have had nothing but issues since day one. When people say you get what you pay for it's the truth! I went with them because they were able to lower my Homeowners and my Auto policies. Unfortunately the trade off was poor customer service, lack of communication and unethical practices.
