The Ibis was clean and inviting. The location is peaceful with plenty of wildlife. We also enjoyed the provided local coffee while watching the sunrises over bay. Thank you for a great stay!
Awesome trip to Goose Island Flats 8/26. Cabin was spacious, clean and stocked with fun books, binoculars and some yummy snacks. Tim & Melissa are amazing hosts! Took our Kayaks. Fished and paddled by the cabins as well as Goose Island State Park. A BIG bonus: Market days (every 3rd Fri-Sat-Sun of each month) with live music, food & drink trucks & lots of craft vendors for unique Christmas gifts . First trip to Goose Island/Rockport, and we’ll definitely go back.
We love this place! It's cozy and situated in a peaceful spot surrounded by nature with overlook on the water. I miss those mornings that I make coffee and sit on my patio watching the sun rise. All the houses have plenty of dishes to cook with as we like and prefer. The beach is very close. And most important things is best customer service. If you need anything or have a question the owners communicate very quickly.
Goose Island Flats is a wonderful, quiet treasure tucked away in Lamar. This was our 5th time staying there. The view from the porch is beautiful and the deer strolling through the property can’t be beat. A short walk to the bay for fishing or bird watching. Tim & Melissa are fantastic hosts who will make sure you have a great stay.
Rated five stars by all for a reason. Very pleasant, well appointed vacation cabin. Front porch has unobstructed view of water. Enjoy the wild flowers and birds!
