Excellent place for weddings i worked there for two years excellent place well looked after Shawn and Emma do a amazing job there
Stayed in late July./august No keys, no one to help with welcome and knowledge of the home. No food as arranged prior to visit. Doors not lockable. The place was a mess! Freezing cold...no fire extinguishers or blankets.||Hopeless management, no response to calls or emails...||Stsy away
We just loved the feel of Goonoo Homestead with its mud brick walls and their cracks and uneven shutters leading to rooms with high ceilings and thoughtfully chosen and placed furniture. No internet or phone service. That was a plus! Fabulous kitchen in which to prepare your own food which you need to bring with you. The drought had broken and the creek was running and soft green grass surrounded the house. LOVED our stay. Peaceful and relaxing.
Goonoo homestead is located on a beautiful working farm, with accommodation in a stunning historic homestead. The garden and grounds were perfect for relaxing and exploring. The large barbecue area was perfect for catering for long lazy al fresco lunches and the tennis court was great for a fun family tennis competition. There was also a lovely pool if visiting in the warmer months. We stayed at the Goonoo Homestead near Yeovil NSW for two nights last weekend and were delighted with all the facilities provided. There was tons of space, as well as a a quiet and peaceful ambience about the location and scenery. We highly recommend as a great place to visit and stay. Geoff and Robbie Potts. 26/09/2017
