Over 8 years of patronage ended after poor, unprofessional service from their food (meat) server and the cashier last night. When accountability and an apology would have gone a long way to resolve the issue, I was treated with disrespect and dismissiveness when I first tried to correct their mistake with my order. I ordered half chicken and it was DRY as paper...you couldn't even chew it. I had called for them to rectify but they told me to bring the dry chicken back in order to remake or refund me. Keep in mind, I went there on my lunch break so of course the plate is in the trash... im not walking around with a plate all day... lol. My mom and I dined here yesterday and today! Ms Holly makes the best black-eyed peas! I had the shrimp yesterday (delicious!) with the peas, mac&cheese and broccoli casserole and Mom had the chicken tenders, potato salad, and cabbage -all so good! Mom wanted to come back today for a veggie plate--greens, peas, limas, and slaw (she was very happy); I got the fried pork (so tender I cut it with my spoon!), cabbage, mashed taters and gravy, and the aforementioned best black-eyed peas!
