Unhappy I started using them about 10 years ago. Never had a problem until I started going by myself to have work done. After having my tires rotated they informed me of two different items that just had to be replaced. Upon my husband arriving home that evening I informed him of what all was wrong. He has been in the auto business for 20 years. He checked out my car and was very disappointed that they tryed to get this extra money from me. He informed me that my car was just fine. Purcell Tire & Rubber Co has good service but higher prices. The service is good here at Purcell, but the prices are higher than I'm used to paying. I would go back when it came to the service, but price is more of a factor for me, so I've been going elsewhere that's more affordable.
OK place to go My husband has purchased tires and had regular maintenance for his car at this location. The service is always good. They are able to get him to work while they work on his car...then pick him up again. Friend did take her car and had them do only an adequate job.
great waiting area Most tire or car maintenance places have NO space for the customers to wait - the lounge is usually more of a dirty closet with icky bathrooms and nothing to look at but the inside of the garage. This is not the case with the Purcells at 59th Ave and Thunderbird. The staff are genuinely nice and cooperative. They get the work done quickly, and their prices aren't too high.
