On 11/3 I took my vehicle in for an inspection. I was able to get the vehicle in asap witch was convenient. However what I found while I was there was less than impressive. An older gentleman (shop manager/owner) nearly never interacted with me. I asked if he could tell me what size break disc was on the vehicle there are two different size options for my vehicle. I called to see if they carried trailer tires because I didn't want to make the 20 minute drive and find out that they didn't. They told me on the phone, without asking me what I needed, that they had what I needed. I drove there and it turned out that they didn't have what I needed. A total waste of my time.
Brought my car in due to car not turning over. Was told that my battery and alternator were bad. Had Goodyear replace the battery and then took my car to the dealership that I bought it from due to having a warranty through the dealership for an alternator. At Volkswagen, the service team told me that my alternator was completely fine and that the mechanic at Goodyear either had no idea what they were doing, or were trying to rip me off.
They are always looking out for their customers! They found some plastic hanging down from underneath in the front and zipped tied it right up. I had not even noticed anything was hanging in front but they sure did and made sure they took care of it for me!
Let me start by saying I’ve never left Rick’s place completely satisfied with the service I received - I don’t even know why I’ve given them as much business as I have. Probably because they actually have an alignment machine. But that doesn’t mean they’ll get your alignment right on the first try!
