Unexpected Good Service ! While doing a tight 3 point turnaround in reverse thru the trees in the bush and PSSHHhhh! Made a unexpected " hole in one" trick shot straight thru the sidewall of a rear tyre. Damn branches hiding in the grass! Fitted the spare & later spotted a big Goodyear sign driving along the hwy. I wanted it replaced in case got another flat, but I have unusual size tyres which no one has in stock & have to order, but worth a try. These guys are awesome. We are travelling through Far North QLD with our caravan and yesterday I noticed I had a disc brake calliper issue on the L/H Rear Dual of the caravan. As a result the hydraulic reservoir on the Alko IQ7 system was very low on fluid. Someone suggested that I call into Good Year Auto Care in Tully as they may be able to assist. Wouldn’t go here if I were you! I used this mechanic whilst travelling and hady alternator replaced. Originally was told 3 days, they ended up taking 9 days and had extremely poor communication with me the whole time. I had to call so many times for updates as I was living in the van and they would say they’d call me back but never did. Then when I finally got it back I travelled less than 24 hours and my van over heated so I had it towed to a new mechanic as quickly as I could. DANGEROUS Terrible communication : hung up on me when I explained the urgency, wouldn’t give updates, got a “tyres ready for fitting” text when done when the issue was the engine Peanuts found in the car on pick up? Broke down again the day after picking it up - after an 11hr drive! BOLTS HADNT BEEN FITTED BACK???? got distracted by their snacks i guess would put negative rating if I could stay away for your safety<3
Had a battery fitted a while back. Just seviced it and found a bolt rolling around loose on the bash plate and another bolt on the battery harness attached to nothing, just hanging there. A simple job stuffed. Should have fitted it myself.
