The best Goodwill from Sac to the Bay !!! Bernie is the store manager there and he definitely knows what he's doing, since he's taken over that location there has been drastic changes. I won't shop at any other goodwill
As far as the selection of goods goes this goodwill is great. As far as the friendliness of some of the employees goes... not so great. While I understand the stockers need to put the merchandise out i definitely do not think they should speak rudely to you when your shopping down an aisle. I was told they didn't have time for me to move because they had to "get this stuff put out". I often wonder why employees don't exhibit good customer service? People- stop giving your donations to greedy goodwill! They are not a non-profit, their CEO is a millionaire off your donations. They self-promote their bare-minimum good deed for clout. Also- goodwill is unnecessarily nasty! They pile stuff on shelves and racks like it’s garbage- sometimes so much you can’t even see anything or move anything without causing an avalanche. I needed a VCR for converting old videos I’d inherited to digital copies. I’d called several goodwill stores looking for one and all of them were happy to check for me before I drove 1-2 hours to the store. The lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude and offered absolutely no help.
