I have been insured with Goodville for approximately 20 years. During That period there have been instances of a storm blowing a tree down onto my shop roof and repairs to our car (my wife backed the car into the mailbox post $667.00) We were supplied a rental car while repairs were made. There has never been any hesitation in them processing the claim. The staff has always been excellent at answering any questions we might have. In my opinion, GMCC is a rip off and untrustworthy. . They insure the landscaping company that cuts my grass. Their truck ran into my access gate. The owner of the company accepted liability. GMCC is refusing the claim without explanation. My request for any and all documents used to determine the denial, have gone unanswered. Horrible Insurance company. Do not waste your time or money with this company.
I was involved in an accident with someone insured by Goodville Mutual. At the time of the accident the driver ran a red light and t-boned my vehicle. The driver expressed that she was at fault to me and my wife and even told the police “I’m not sure what color the light was”. The police report had her listed as “at fault”. Now goodville is claiming that they’re not assuming liability because “it’s my word against hers” and is trying to get out of paying my deductible and diminished value to my vehicle. Complete joke of an insurance company. They refuse to pay for what damage their clients do.
I have had Goodville insurance for both auto and home for several years. My fiance and I bough a home together. Goodville would not insure the new home because "they don't like me", my agent's words. I had previously question their handling of my confidential information. Seems they don't like their customers asking hard questions. Ask for the wrong things and they black ball you.
