My experience with GoodVets West Loop has been deeply upsetting and disappointing. Before my kitten Prea’s spay surgery, they specifically asked us for our consent to remove any retained baby teeth during the procedure, and we said yes. Despite that, they did not remove the tooth — and never gave us any explanation. Weeks later, one of Prea’s baby canines began breaking apart until it became infected. We were denied service this morning while the office was completely empty. We were letting the dog empty his bladder directly in front of the office, when I received the text. I went in and explained it was me in front and we had an emergency appointment for possible surgery and was still denied. Please have or show more compassion for sick animals. It can also take pet parents a little bit longer to handle a sick animal and get them from A to B without causing additional discomfort.
Dr. Flanagan and her team are great, caring and always have my fur baby Coco needs at the forefront. I've actually had the pleasure to visit Uptown, Andersonville and now this location in the West Loop.....same great service at each location.
