I gave this place a try because it’s close to my apartment in the Gulch. Unfortunately, every visit felt more like a revenue-generating operation than a veterinary practice. At every appointment, additional tests, diets, medications, or procedures were recommended before I felt my dogs had even been thoroughly evaluated. The constant upselling made me uncomfortable. GoodVets has a fascinating business model. Step 1: Repeatedly reschedule your client's appointments. Step 2: Send automated reminders threatening to charge the client if they miss an appointment—even when it's an appointment the clinic itself already rescheduled. Step 3: Ask for the previous veterinarian's contact information so you can supposedly obtain the patient's medical records. Step 4: Never actually obtain those records. Dr. Siegfried really seems to care about my cats. I know I don’t always get the best news, but she tries her best to supply me with the resources I need to care for them.
Very overpriced. 2 annual vaccines cost me $320. I should have realized a rabies vaccine could cost as low as $10 through county clinics in Nashville. Their line item for each vaccine was $105 & $100. They mandate a physical exam as well for administering vaccines which was a 5 minute exam and I did not think was comprehensive. This was an additional $91. I was quoted $296 then when I was about to pay they added a fee of $24 for the rabies tag. Following this charge, they did not give me the tag.
