I have a standard poodle who needs her ears plucked every month or so I typically go to the GoodVets in uptown but unfortunately I was going out of town this weekend and needed them to be plucked before I left I was able to book a sooner appointment through this location, I booked for a ear appointment only but was charged for and examination which wasn’t the problem since I wasn’t at my typical location. GoodVets is now backed by private equity, and unfortunately, the pricing and decline in service reflect that. We have been GoodVets members for over five years. In that time, our membership has increased from $65/month to $135/month, while the benefits have noticeably decreased. They are in the process of launching new packages, though it is unclear what meaningful benefit these new packages offer patients. Updating my review Dr Perkins at this location is great. Knowledgeable and compassionate - digs into a problem and gives you her full attention. Tanya and the front desk team are always pleasant and easy to work with. Their hours have gotten much better the past six months and parking is easy peasy. Their prices are average for the city - it’s not a discount vet if that’s what you’re looking for. We had a visit with Dr. Post that lacked "bedside manner" and left me as the owner, feeling as if the vet gave a list of things wrong with my dog but did not provide me with the path to improvement. This will be the last time I take my dog to this GoodVets location. It's a shame because Dr. Perkins and Dr. de la Sierra are so lovely.
