I was sent to Jennifer Good's Counseling Services in January of 2023 after experiencing psychosis. She was the first professional that I saw after getting out of the hospital. Upon arrival while doing paperwork, she said something about being a juvenile delinquent as well as telling me that I should not be saying who I think "God is." A family friend suggested Jennifer when I was a teenager and experiencing horrible anxiety. I had never been to counseling before and wanted to give it a try. Jennifer made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and made my anxiety so much worse that I was scared to go back to any type of counseling until almost a year later. She’s quite rude, and VERY bold but almost in a self-absorbed type of way. I never even got to open up to her about anything because she would just ramble on and on the entire time. Jennifer really cares about her clients. You can tell she has a big heart and passion for helping others. She helps my boyfriend with individual counseling, myself with individual counseling, and also sees the both of us together for couples counseling. She is an amazing counselor, and I highly recommend you choose her if you're looking for services.
