We went in to get information to see which unit we wanted to buy and they won’t give ANY information. We didn’t ask about price but I guess the price changes depending on who you have install it. Well, we’ll just buy an unit online. I encourage everyone to get info including pricing online so you can be informed and not completely at an installer’s discretion. We’d like to have some input into what we’re buying.
Bought 2 new mini splits from a local hvac contractor about 3 months ago. One stopped working and the technician said the coil is leaking (common issue) after contacting Daikin they said its not under warranty because it wasn't registered online tho we could prove the purchase date and installation by the hvac contractor.
Daikin comfort is distributer of HVAC equipment to HVAC contractors.
Needed a simple high limit switch for my Goodman furnace. Was kept on hold for too long and told they only sell to contractors after waiting on hold. Same part on Amazon, $10.99 - 2 day delivery. I purchased this exact part from this location when they operated under the Goodman name. This is not Freon - it is a simple switch that installs with 2 screws.
