Older lifting equipment but still functional, clean facilities, sauna, steam room and cold room. Hoping they get a dexa scan other gyms have that their members can use for free, currently only a trainer has one that you’re charged to use.

Limited classes available (zero yoga classes and ONE pilates class scheduled over the entire week) which is a bit pathetic considering most GD’s in Brisbane have multiple reformer Pilates, yoga and hot yoga classes available, gym has a weird layout, no pool and steam room always has a pungent BO smell coming from it - so much so that I’ve never stepped foot into it. I was a member of Goodlife Ipswich for over 10 years (before this it was known as Zest, where I signed up at the old Zest at Riverview before it was pushed over for Ford and Zest moved to Booval) so I think I have enough credibility to make a sound comment on Goodlife Ipswich. As others have said, you don't just pay your weekly fee, ever 3 months they sneakily take out 9.99 out of your account, they claim its a PT fee, to give you a session. Amazing gym! I just recently moved to the area from the city and was pleasantly surprised with the size of this gym. The staff are extremely friendly, the atmosphere is very welcoming and nice, and everything is always super clean and tidy. I do wish there was a hip thrust machine or adductor machine🙏🏻🙏🏻 but, overall I'm very happy with my switch to Ipswich.
