Not so clean with poor customer service
A great experience if you want to feel like you’re working out in one of those derelict Siberian Russian gyms you sometimes see on instagram (though to be fair, those gyms probably have hot water showers - unlike this gym). 100% would come back out of necessity.
Abominable customer service and absolutely shameful management. Everyone who walks through the door is a walking money bag and they have no respect or consideration for members. The carpets haven't been vacuumed in several months at least at the equipment is riddled with rust.
Its a good gym but! Few suggestions: If you can’t operate 24/7, at least consider opening at 5am instead of 6am. Being so close to the city fringe, there’s clearly strong demand—people are genuinely waiting for a good gym in this area. Also, the fans need attention. I’m not sure why at least one or two fans always running. It would help to visit other Fitness First gyms around Flinders Street for comparison. App shows that its open but Ive been here for over 30min and no go. At least a dozen members have come and gone with complete disappointment. Essendon not being staffed on Sunday's is a job and Goodlife in general is becoming that way all round! You better step it up before your community of members go elsewhere that care and respect them.
