Truly shocking experience from an Amanda and Julia who need to figure out how a 'free trial' works - no one is obligated to sign up afterwards, and we are most certainly not "wasting your time" by not signing up. Not to mention, if we are not interested in the membership you are trying sell, it is not disrespectful. Imagine a storefront offering free food samples getting rude and upset that you didn't end up buying their product - genuinely confused and shocked at how silly and indignant they staff members became.
Been a member for almost a year and had my friends trial a reformer class for them to test out how they like the Pilates classes at Goodlife and when they did not join the membership right immediately after the class and wanted some time to think, their attitude shifted drastically and told us that we were “wasting their time and were not allowed here again”. Extremely disappointed at the rude service provided to existing members as well as prospective members. Never going back to this Goodlife again.
I had both my parents pass away & was unable to train or get to the gym for 12months looking after them. Being a member for over 10yrs, I was still paying for my membership, always vowing to try & freeze it but was distracted with the care of my parents. After they had past, I contacted Goodlife management to let them know of my situation. Very disappointing experience with Goodlife. The steam rooms which are a key reason many of us hold a membership are constantly out of order across multiple locations and remain unfixed for long periods. Members are still paying full fees while major facilities are unavailable, and when concerns are raised, the responses feel dismissive rather than solution-focused.
