I had a very disappointing experience with Goodlife Chermside. I cancelled my membership in person about a month ago, and was clearly told that my cancellation date would be 9 March. However, I have been charged twice after that date, and I never received any cancellation confirmation email. I contacted the centre multiple times. I was promised a call back, but no one followed up. When I called again, I was told to wait, and again no response. I have been a member on and off for the past 6 years. I have chronic health conditions which leaves my ability to workout inconsistent and unpredictable. Goodlife Chermside has always been supportive with a flexible no-fee membership suspension hold (with a doctor’s certificate). Not every gym offers this flexibility and it has been extremely helpful to know I can pause and suspend due to my chronic health conditions without paying a fee. Thank you guys!
