I can't say enough good things about this gym. I've never met the general manager, but the fitness manager Andrea P made me feel welcome right from the start. He set me up with Cris - my current trainer - and we meshed right away. I feel that Andrea really listened to what I was looking for from the gym - not necessarily to lose weight (although that was a happy side effect), but to be strong, be healthy. Some gyms you go to are cold and only care about sales and pushing certain 'standard programs'. Goodlife Southpark and Andrea (fitness manager) and Cris (trainer) are absolutely wonderful and caring people - in fact I have never had a time where I've walked into Goodlife and felt anything but welcome. Once I forgot my water bottle and the front staff person (Angela) noticed and offered me a new water bottle when she saw me struggling with the water fountain. As a heavy person, I always felt intimidated by the gym. I'd seen a few trainers elsewhere and never felt like I never really clicked with anyone until I met Andrea. I started at Goodlife Tamarack where Andrea was a trainer. He took over my progress in approximately February 2024. Andrea is a natural coach - provides guidance, persistence and most of all just radiates happiness. He makes you want to come back to the gym everyday.
