I have a toilet in a powder room with wood floor. I am the original owner of my home, which was constructed 5 years ago. About a year ago the toilet in the powder room failed -- water was leaking from the bottom and damaged my wooden floor. I immediately called a plumber to have it fixed (replace the wax ring), only to have it fail again a year later!
