Our grandma was in hospice at good Shepard. They initially told us there was up to 4 visitors allowed at one time because of COVID. Even though we were to be practicing social distancing, wearing masks, sanitizing, taking a pre screening evaluation of our current health, and having our temperatures taken, and also being in our own private room. Good Shepered would be a better place to work if the employees were not "out to get you". There is no exceptions to any rule even if it is to the benifit to other employees or residents. The turn over rate is very high here, and good employees are lost due to having absolutely no leeway. Best Wishes if you choose to be employed here. If you work the overnight shift there will be a large resident to emoloyee ratio at times it is overwhelming, and limited approved " filling time between rounds or call lights" activities. RecommendedGood Shepherd is a top notch facility. My mother has been a resident 3 times over the past few years for physical and occupational rehab. She LOVED it there. The staff was awesome and so professional, helpful and caring. It’s a beautiful facility with so much to offer from the chapel, store, library, even a movie theater and more! I highly recommend this to everyone.
They do not have enough staff to take care of the residents daily needs nor do they have enough experience staff to know what the needs are of each resident.
Clean place to live. Friendly staff.
Our mom was there and loved the wonderful coffee shop, loved Janette and all those wonderful helpers, she received great care and also loved how nice it was decorated, our whole family enjoyed visiting mom and lunching at the Northern Delights Store, our mom Anita Gille totally enjoyed the store.
Great care and friendliness and clean place.
