This whole experience so far has been at best terrible. I cant get phone calls back in a timely manor, cant get told the correct information, meaning one person tells you one thing and another says something totally different. Had a virtual meeting cancelled 35 minutes before, we both had to leave work early to do the meeting. Good Shepherd out of Farmington are very unprofessional, rude and not at all for the safety of the children. It's really sad they are not in it for the children.

If you are not planning on going through fostering first you might as well not consider apodtion. The beginning process seemed to go well but after being licensed officially is when it went down hill. The system is definitely broken in several agencies and case workers in my opinion. It was not until 2 months later that our case worker sent out our home study to Missouri caseworkers, we don't know why this was not sent when we became licensed. I'm fine with having to look into profiles and be involved in the process but when... read more
