Good Scents has been in business since 1986, when the owner thought it might be fun for the summer to have a shop. We really do have something for everyone. I just gave a recommendation to Red Oak, the sister store to Good Scents. And now I have to add that if you go to either one, you will find exactly what you're looking for, or as in my case with Good Scents, things you didn't know you needed!!!! Do yourself a favor, & do not miss Good Scents. And allow yourself plenty of time to browse & shop, & then go around the corner to Red Oak. These 2 are now "must stops" when we're in Cape May.
Great candles and my favorite, essential oils. try their lavender, you will sleep like a rock! Great for skin, hair and even heals mosquito bites within minutes. highly recommend!
Always something new and interesting. My favorite shop in Cape May. Staff is very knowledgeable with music selection. Great selection of jewelry.
We have been going to Good Scents since 1996. This was one of my favorite places to go. I looked forward to it. However I just got back from Cape May and found this establishment disappointing. The quality wasn't there and things were over priced. It was no better than a novelty shop. I'm not sure if the store is under new management, or if they have new buyers, or simply changed hands. This was a disappointment. They really need to get back to the quality.

Beautiful shop with a good heart. Always surprises me with new lovely things for altar, home, mind and spirit. They welcomed my earliest offering from Southbound Press, The View in Winter, in 1992, and continue to offer Alice Steer Wilson: Light, Particularly. Also, they are very kind to the animals.
Awesome customer service! Very friendly and cozy atmosphere! They even allowed us to bring our dog, Pepper into the store! (Which is even better for my boyfriend and I) Will definitely be back! Pepper will be along too �
