The African lady nurse at the A&E entrance neglected a TYPE 1 DIABETIC & 8 month HIGH RISK PREGNANT patient with very high blood sugar level readings for 6+ hours (a life or death emergency). When asked how long it would take to be seen, the nurse said “everyone is important, just let us do our job”. Shocking behavior, she was speaking to most patients in a harsh and unprofessional tone throughout our stay at the hospital.

I've have spent the last 6 hours sitting in the aptly named Waiting room and still no idea if or when I am going to be seen. The place is virtually empty. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are in very urgent need.

I recently had need to visit the accident and Emergency dept ar Good Hope Hospital where I was quickly seen and informed the staff of my concerns re medical equipment that was inserted in my skull previously. I was transferred to A&E Major C.. where I was settled on a bed with my wife on a chair next to me. During the next 5 hours I was given various tests which showed all was well. One of the worst hospitals I've been in for a moment, you expect yourself in a remote country, Britain's worst health sector in the world. My child and I waited six hours and then they told me he was the doctor.
