I spent almost a week there and had to leave early by my own choice due to my medical issues and not receiving my long term blood pressure meds and being denied a test for a uti I felt I needed. After returning to my regular doctor he tested me for a uti, which I had and treated me and Im still being treated for it because it's resistant to all the antibiotics so far that I tried but I do feel better with the antibiotics. I did a 7 day stay here when I had a PTSD blackout and tried ending my life in February. This hospital was filled with staff that were gentle, understanding, providing and eye opening in the best way. Now I also have a new diagnosis, meds and resources that saved my life. Thank you again Good Hope, you took great care of me when I was there. P.S. thank you Beth for discharging me on my birthday, that will be something I will never forget. ;) XO "Wednesday"

A Loved one spent 7 days here and I was horrified after reading some of the reviews about Good Hope and when I called to get info about my loved one I was initially told nothing and the nurse hung up on me ! So I say all that to say don’t pay attention to the negative reviews it is a mental health hospital and their primary concern is the health and safety of their patients after a couple of days a social worker called me and updated me on my loved one !
