I am absolutely impressed with Dr. Milberger and the entire team at Good Dog Veterinary Care! I was very nervous about taking my six-year-old dog, Coco, to a new veterinarian because she is fearful of strangers and reactive toward other dogs. Spent nearly $1000 for my dog only to get worse. Brought him in because I noticed a limp in one of his legs, and went ahead and signed up for the senior wellness plan. Since he wasn’t staying still for x-rays, they wanted to try again with anxiety medication, which they wanted double the dose the night before, and the morning of, along with pain medication, and was also prescribed tick medication (given the next morning). I was there yesterday with a friend getting their dog treated and everybody was very kind, however we heard a male employee yelling at another coworker in the back. I don’t know if they just had a bad day but that is very unprofessional in my opinion.
We’ve been so happy with Good Dog Smyrna! We take our Morkie, Frankie, there for his annual vet appointments and dental cleanings, and we’re also members. The vets are incredible — genuinely knowledgeable and caring, and you can tell they love what they do. From the moment you walk in, the whole team makes you feel welcome. Frankie actually loves going, which says a lot! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet practice that treats your pet like family.
