I spent exactly 1 year at Good Days. I'm fortunate that I can admit that the cause of any struggles I had could be found when I looked in the mirror. When I needed help with things Meg was always willing to do anything she could. They really care about the residents and their success. If you're not serious about recovery and moving forward it's probably not the place for you. If you are, I highly recommend because you will definitely have support.
They say no one's allowed to have romantic relationships but the house manager has her fiance over everyday. They're very hypocritical with the rules and they make sure everyone knows it. Extremely poorly run house. And they put people on contracts who they don't favor even if they apologize and fix their mistakes.
My experience at this facility was a nightmare. The actual house itself was very nice. Unfortunately though, the the staff supervisors and the general staff did not follow through on a simple task of a letter of residency to obtain state aid. Their lack of empathy and abundancy of negligence put a client(s) physical and mental well being in harm's way without a second thought.
