My name is Linda Hughes Smith. Goochland Cares has helped me with repairs a few times. I appreciate the help as I am 70 years old and retired. Every person who has come to my home has been kind and empathetic. However, I was a bit unsettled when it was implied that I fabricated my issue. I cannot explain the circumstances, but I will say that I stated my issue and wasn't present when the workers arrived and there was running water. I've had terrific service, prompt appointments, prompt referrals. Calm, friendly staff. Excellent communication for services. Im disabled and I'm accommodated very nicely. Entire property and offices are always clean. Information signs and location signs are well placed. Excellent community services through area, good partnerships. Excellent bilingual services from support staff. My family approves, and I share my knowledge to all my neighbors and personal family.
Stand up for what you believe in. I believe in fairness. At this organization I was not treated fairly. Because I make efforts to treat people fairly, speaking up about this is important. I hope there will be a change in leadership at this organization in order to have staff members who are willing to engage lovingly and respectfully with the wonderful clients who make the effort to come by and give Goochland Cares their business.
