What's the story with the old Goo-Goo self-service facilities, like the one on Warm Springs Rd. Are they still operated by Goo=Goo Corporate, or have they been sold-off to other management? These sites are pathetic, not well maintained and are no longer dependable. I tried to wash the pollen off my truck at Warm Springs today, the machine took my 5 tokens but would not start regardless of anything I tried. Since there is no return on the token-taker, and no attendant on site I was screwed for $1.25!
Recently went to the one on Taylor Rd in Montgomery AL. Awful!! My car was not clean after going through 2 times. Manager was not concerned...said it was mold. Showed him how I could wipe it off with spit and my finger. One of the other workers said they were told by the new owner that they were to get the cars in and out fast and could not spend any extra time on a car. Went home and wiped it off with soap and a sponge. 15 bucks for nothing!!
My car came out with orange spots all over it and had sticky stuff on Windows and door I played $15 and my car came out looking a hole lot worse
