Extremely Dissatisfied. We have been told by Cooper that Dr. Gonzalez read my daughter's EEG 3 weeks ago but Cooper fails to produce this report. I was told by the office manager that it was going to be mailed but we never received it and the report is not visible on My Chart. I recommend people not go to Cooper for pediatric neurology

I am not sure why everyone is complaining so much about Dr. Gonzalez. My daughter has autism/epilepsy. We have been seeing Dr. Gonzalez for about 9 years, ever since my daughter had her first seizure. She has never been anything but 100% nice and attentive toward me & my daughter. I can’t stand most physicians & I’m the first one to say that they are no good, but she is great. I/we have had some problems with the office staff at Cooper, but never with Dr. Gonzalez. I waited 3 months for this initial appointment for her to spend 15 minutes with my son. She is not nice; 1 example- my autistic 2 year old son loves keyboards and was trying to play with hers prior to her coming into the room so I moved it out of his reach. When she came into the room I explained I moved it because he likes to play with them, her response was “put it back”. She also asked maybe a total of 3 questions and was not informative. My experiences are NOTHING like what everyone here is posting. It’s true you gotta wait for appointments, like everywhere else. And you gotta confirm them like everywhere else. The doctor is real sweet and really cares about the kids. We been going there a year an my daughter grades gone up, she feels better and even says she wants to be a doctor too someday.
