He came highly recommended by my original OB when my original OB left the practice. Having to switch doctors in the middle of my pregnancy could have been a disaster but it was anything but. I went to him to discuss tubal ligation or hysterectomy and he refused to speak to me and directed all questions to my husband while performing my vaginal exam. He told me I was to young and refused.
Dr. Jay is a great doctor and a wonderful person. From my pregnancy to delivery I have had really good experience with him. He is very easy to talk to and explains things in very simple way. He makes you feel very safe and comfortable. Throughout my pregnancy not once I was in stress. He always listened to me patiently and never pushed on things. Dr. Gonzalez saved my life! In a routine annual gynecological exam, he performed a breast exam and found a lump. He ordered an immediate mammogram with 3D ultrasound for the following day, and they found I had stage 2 breast cancer. I was only 41 and had not started getting annual mammograms yet since I didn’t have a history of breast cancer in my family.
