I just did not like the barbeque .
We were looking forward to dining at this local restaurant due to the 4.5 ⭐️s. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations as it tasted old and reheated. Specifically, the brisket, it had a different color and it was tasteless, pecan pie was missing pecans, the bread was stale, their BBQ sauce was watered down and it had more of sugar water flavor, and the chicken breast was extremely dry. I’m originally from Gonzales, we stop here anytime we are in town visiting family or just seeing the sites of interest. The barbecue is always good and don’t forget the barbecue sauce.
