Got a large takeout pizza with mushrooms, sausage and extra cheese. The wife is a lifetime (now transplanted) Jersey Girl, so she knows good pizza (and shared it with me). The crust was not great, but serviceable. I found the sauce a bit on the bitter size, but again, we ain’t in Jersey… That said, this pizza is the closest we’ve found to a good NY (or Jersey) style pizza. We will definitely be back…Will try the subs soon
My experience started when I went to pick up my pizza. While waiting for my pie I watched the guys behind the counter. They were all working extremely hard. I observed one guy blow his nose, then proceed to wipe the sweat off his brow. Never even bothered to clean his hands afterwards. That is so unsanitary and disgusting. When I got my pizza home. We tried this place because a few other people seemed to like it and Pizzetta’s can be pricey. Let me say- saving a few bucks is NEVER worth it. Pizza crust was soft and undercooked, sauce was watery, and the best part- the wings still had feathers!! Now dont come at me because I know this can happen but not with multiple wings. First and only time customer. Definitely won’t recommend to others.
Tried this place, ordered a cheese Sicilian, and a crostata pizza. The menu description didn't have sausage. Ordered it for that reason. What we got had sausage, we don't eat pork, this is why we ordered this with our cheese pizza. Called and was told more or less too bad that this pizza comes with sausage. The Sicilian was really good, but we probably won't return due to how this was handled. Unfortunately, I can find good pizza at multiple places, and small things like this make the difference of returning or not.
