I worked with Marcello on a Gondola proposal event. It was such a wonderful experience. Marcello took the time to personally reach out the day before my trip to go over logistics and answer any questions I had for the special day. He even took the time to take fantastic videos and photos to capture the proposal. I highly recommend this experience to all local residents or tourists.
We booked a gondola ride for my birthday and unfortunately had a very frightening experience. The evening started off fine, although it was extremely windy. We brought our own blanket and a bottle of wine, which the gondolier kindly opened and poured for us. However, about 10–15 minutes before the end of our ride, our gondolier fell into the cold water. Great experience! I highly recommend seeing Providence from the treasure that is the river. The Gondoliers are retell the history and easily answer questions about old and new buildings. Ours sang in Italian and was accompanied by a talented accordion player.
We rode the swan boats at Roger Williams park - and it was our first time! It was so much fun and the prices were amazing! $10 for adults and $5 for kids for 30 minutes. I will definitely be back!
