Gondola Adventures Irving branch is a first-class gondola experience offering cruises on Lake Carolyn and through the Mandalay Canals. The narrow canals have some private inlets with refreshing waterfall views, and the gondolas are the only vessels (other than the occasional patrol boat) that ply the waters. Lovely date night idea. The food is good and the boat ride is romantic. Bring a blanket if you’re going into the night, my husband suggested it and I’m glad we did!
We celebrated our anniversary with a gondola ride and it was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to everyone!! Austin was great and knowledgeable. Very romantic and worth every penny!!
What an experience! My sis & I decided to take a gondola ride and I am so glad we did. Woody was phenomenal. He was so nice and kind and sang! We enjoyed his singing and a time was had with him as our “captain” of the gondola we cruised on. The scenery is stunning and I can’t wait to cruise again! So much fun!
Gondola adventures has been a staple of the lake Carolyn/Mandalay Canals area for years now! It’s a very awesome place where you can get a boat ride through the canals and have Gondoliers sing songs to you while you eat Italian food, sip champagne, and eat dessert! Came and our gondolier, Kevin, was amazing! He showed us around, serenading my now fiancee and I with his mad guitar skills. This is all totally worth the experience. As for engagement proposals, you could of course propose anywhere, but for a beautiful location and pictures I recommend waiting until you get near the waterfall. It was my first time here and I wasn't sure where I was going to propose until we got to the waterfall, that's when I was like, "yep that's the spot.".
