Jennifer Saucedo has been ignoring me and completely unprofessional in getting my deposit back. It’s been over two months with no reply. I’ve been trying to contact her and I am so upset and need my deposit.
Since Golub bought Lakehaven apts in Carol Stream things have really gone downhill. Property has trash everywhere, let ANYONE rent without much vetting, When I moved in I had to give the previous company all my info and references including underwear size. There are many 1 bedroom apts with 5 or more people living there, They now charge a parking fee to every resident with a car and if you have a guest over past 8pm you have to REGISTER them and pay a fee. As a resident of Two West, I feel compelled to issue a warning. Marketed as "luxury" living, this property consistently delivers frustration, disrespect, and significant security concerns, all at a premium cost (2-3x avg. rent). Dallas (Property Manager), Danae (Asst. Property Manager), and Mundo (Lead Maint. Engineer) — are demonstrably unfit to serve this community. Since Golub has taken ownership of Lakehaven Apts. in Carol Stream they have done nothing but take our money. 50% rent increase in the past 3 years. Forced to pay all rent and utilities through an app which they charge a $4.25 administration fee to use. Set everyone up for a $12.50 credit reporting service with OPT-OUT clause not opt-in. Even if you opted out they started changing you anyway. Latest is they are going to start changing $10 a month for parking. You don't get anything for the $10 you just won't get towed.
