This was my first bed&breakfast experience and it couldn't have been better. We stayed in Viola's Attic Room which is the best one in the house because it comes with a fireplace. The fireplace kept us warm throughout the entire night. In each room, there's also a hot tub jacuzzi which was perfect after a day of hiking. This B&B is only miles away from Devil's Lake. Had to attend an evening meeting in Baraboo, so decided to make it into a mini-vacation. Found Gollmar Guest House on the web and made a reservation. What a great place! It was comfortable, homey, and QUIET. I loved having my own bathroom, altho didn't take advantage of the huge jacuzzi. John and Sharon, the hosts, are so nice, fun to talk with, and welcoming.
