I'm not going to lie, having oral surgery at the start of my weekend isn't my favorite thing to do. But the service from Dr Johnstone was second to none. She put my mind at ease, I felt 100% in expert hands, she educated me leading up to the surgery, explained what was going on during the surgery - just the right amount of reassuring information. Excellent oral surgeon. Very impressed with Dr. Johnstone's skills and gentle touch. She provided a wonderful overview and details of the procedure. Excellent 'bedside' manner! Her staff were so polite and pleasant. Plus there was excellent follow up.
I would not recommend Dr. Johnstone. I went to see her for a consultation for wisdom tooth extraction after being referred there by my dentist. Dr. Johnstone ended up giving me a really condescending lecture about brushing my teeth (having never looked inside my mouth) –I mentioned that I had been told by many dentists that I'm genetically more prone to cavities. Educated me during consult, immediately prior to and after procedure. I am thrilled with this surgeon and highly recommend her. Her receptionist is also amazing and helpful and kind. 12/10 would visit again.
