Sylvia Goldschmidt is a fantastic attorney. She works in an extremely difficult (and often emotionally charged) field. I spent five years with her, because my crazy ex (aren’t they all?) wouldn’t settle. I found her to be responsive, thoughtful of her clients legal costs, but most importantly, brilliant. I switched from a different attorney at the start of my case, and there was a world of difference. Sylvia Goldschmidt, is THE absolute worst, and is incompetent. I went to her for a divorce. It took 3 years for a divorce that should have taken 6 months…She would kiss my, ex husband hello, as though she was working for him…(with the deal I got, she might have been)…At end of divorce, the ex was to pay for my leagal bills, but she sent me an additional bill for $40,000, to finish the details, (which I paid, beside, the original retainer).
