Predatory cancelation practices among other things. I submitted my cancellation request, and was prompted to pay a fee to cancel. I thought it was just for the last month, but realize that they are already charged me for my membership two days earlier than last month? So I guess I'm paying for two months. Great. I understand wanting to hold on to customers, but trapping customers is a whole other thing. This gym (probably the whole Golds Gym company) will trap you into a membership and will not let you cancel. They'll just lie to you and tell you it's canceled or give you some excuse as to why you can't cancel at this moment. You know what makes me not want to work out? Feeling pressured and trapped by a gym. What if I'm moving? What if my financial situation changed? Just let me cancel the dang membership!!
It was cool. My buddy has a gym pass there It was a cool experience . To work out in a gym like Arnold swartzanagger. Peak.
As much as I love the classes at this gym and I have been here for 8 years. I paid about $24 a month And when I signed up in 2018 was signed up under a plan that was promised to never increase. A few months ago. When what I was told corporate took over there was a 50% increase to my membership which made it $36 a month now. So there was never any conversation with me that this would be happening. Just all of a sudden I started seeing an amount that I did not authorize being charged to my card. Much more room than other gyms I’ve been to. Lots of equipment and amenities. It is more money for a membership but it’s worth it if you’re serious about working out and getting in shape. Cora ,I believe her name is, great customer service and helpful I recommend this gym to anyone
