My daughter was gaining weight and we didn't know why. So we took her to Golds Gym to get her help and we signed up got her a personal trainer. Miss.Denise the best,loving,caring trainer there is helped my daughter. But then my daughter came more ill. One of the worst waste of money, energy and time I asked to join and find out about coaches. 2 days later I had an appt with 'the membership manager'...I see now that was a Euphemism for sleazy sales person! ONE HOUR 15 MINUTES in an office with the door closed! Of course, I bought additional services and was hardly sure of all he 'pitched'. Not a very professional response to pbdfpbdf. Kind of makes me believe what she said is true. Thank God there are people out there that take the time to give thorough evaluations. I'm only leaving one star because its the minimum. Would like to leave 0 stars.

Haven't been in over 9 months forgot about my membership and instead of calling to remind me I was being changed and they where no longer able to they continued to charge my "account" the monthly fee plus late fees finally turning my account over to a collection agency. Eldersburg Golds Gym beware. We joined this Gym in Eldersburg Maryland one week before it opened. My wife and I told Sean that we really didn't know if we wanted to sign up for a one year contract, but rather we wanted to do the month to month. Sean told us that if we signed up for the one year contract he as the owner would give us the month to month deal and we could cancel at anytime. Worse experience with a gym. It is always crowded. First 3 months after i bought the membership, the man's bathroom was close then the indoor pool was closed for a good 6 months. Then the suana and the steam room was broken. Finally after a year with Gold's gym, We decide to cancel and by call 866-465-3775. I was on hold for an hours listening to stupid music without getting any help. DO NOT get gold's gym, they are a scam business.
If you are a new mother this is not the gym for you and your family. I am a new mother and was excited about getting back into shape post baby. When I signed up I was told that I would have two hours a day for childcare for my children. I thought that was wonderful! One hour to workout and one hour to shower, change and even do my hair! Great gym! I drop my son off in the Kids area while I workout and tan. Everyone is friendly and trainers are great! I recommend getting the Gold membership
