Recently moved to New Braunfels from San Marcos, and was hopeful for this golds based on reviews. Was let down entering for the first time. Very dimly lit, and more upsettingly, only one adjustable squat rack. Squat racks are one of the most needed pieces of equipment in a gym, so one simply is not enough. Looks like I will be biting the bullet and driving to the San Marcos golds for my workouts, which has around 10 squat racks. Very disappointed.
It is so dark inside and the machines aren’t even gold’s quality. They are left over pieces of equipment from lifetime. They need to make this location a carbon copy of the Gold’s gym on slaughter in Austin.
