You gotta stop letting men in the women's locker rooms
I have put off writing this for some time, but I hope the complaints listed here will help foster some change at this gym. If there were a gym in the area that offered similar amenities, equipment, and a comparable price point (even if membership was $10-15 extra per month), then I would cancel my membership immediately. My husband and I walked in today on a pass and very little customer service. We were asked to sign in, and there was no direction whatsoever or tour of the gym. If I was truly in the market for a gym in this area, I would not sign up just due to the lack of customer service. It so simple to greet people with a friendly smile and ask if they need assistance goes along way! What happened to customer service. Both people at the front desk are probably getting overpaid for being on their phone and not helpful at all.
The gym has plenty of space and a good variety of weights, but it’s been neglected. Some equipment has been under maintenance for over four months, like the crossover machine, which is one of the most in-demand. A few machines have broken parts, making it difficult to adjust them for proper use. The gym itself is good, but it’s one of the least well-maintained. Gym sauna has been broken for months. There’s no sense of urgency or knowledge when it will be repair. This is literally a robbery. Members should be able to have access to all amenities.
